The decision was backed by several states

Speaking to ANI, AAP leader Raghav Chadha defended the Delhi government while alleging: "The BJP has asked petrol pump owners to go on strike in the city. Now the government is not decreasing the fuel prices, rather they are asking petrol pump owners to go on strike to create tension in Delhi. The decision was backed by several states, Water pump for sale including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Tripura. While few petrol pump owners agreed to the BJPs decision, others were forced to go on strike. They should also bring petrol and diesel under the ambit of GST.. The central government has earned more than Rs 10 lakh crore only through excise duty," he said."VAT has not been reduced yet in Delhi, so there is tension. AAP is responsible for all this chaos."I condemn the adamant behaviour and decision of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal."Since Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government has come into power, the excise duty over petrol and diesel has been increased 12 times.

If they cant do so then I think Arvind Kejriwal should resign from his position," he added. People are forced to pay Rs 2. We want the AAP government to work for the benefit of the people. On October 4, the central government slashed fuel prices by Rs 2.The one-day strike will see petrol pumps along with linked CNG dispensing units remain shut till 5 am on Tuesday.5 extra for getting petrol in Delhi.34 per litre while diesel is being sold 27 paise lower at Rs. 81. We want the central government to first decrease the prices of crude oil.50 per litre after curbing excise duty on the commodity by Rs 1.50 per litre. In Delhi, petrol price was slashed by 30 paise to retail at Rs."

The strike has been "totally engineered by the BJP," Chadha alleged. They have been threatened that the Income Tax department will conduct raids at their properties if they dont go on strike.

An ambitious Central government scheme

The state government had come up with the ambitious scheme of distributing 5 lakh solar pumps to farmers. Out of the 10,000 pumps to be distributed initially, 8,000 were supposed to be distributed in suicide-prone districts such as Akola, Amaravati, Washim, Yavatmal, Buldhana and Wardha. But, the Maharashtra government failed to complete its target.5 and 7. The Union government had set a deadline of March 30 2017 for the distribution of 8,000 solar pumps while 2,000 had to be distributed by December.5 horsepower pumps would be given to farmers with payment of five per cent to the total غير مجاز مي باشدt. The number has now been halved..It was also decided that 3. For the first year, the government decided to distribute 10,000 pumps to farmers. This is why Mahavitaran, the state government’s power distribution utility, has decided to curtail the Atal Solar Agriculture Pump scheme.

Therefore, the Centre stopped raising its share, which affected state’s power distribution company. The government issued a GR on March Wholesale borewell pump for sale 27 2015 with the name as Atal Solar Agriculture Pump scheme. Under the scheme, 10,000 pumps that were to be distributed. The state government was supposed to contribute a share of five per cent, the Centre 30 per cent and fundraising was supposed to raise 60 per cent.Mumbai: An ambitious Central government scheme related to the distribution of solar pumps to farmers will be rolled back. It is inexplicable why all those affected

The petrol pumps get just two and a half per cent commission and there are now 60-70 per cent customers paying in plastic money at petrol pumps. At first, they were allowed to take old notes till December 31, but when some protested they were being used as dumping grounds for demonetised currency and had no change to return, this was withdrawn. Now, when the pump owners threatened to stop accepting credit/debit cards, the charges were withdrawn.

Terror attacks continue and bribery goes on merrily. Black money is generated afresh every day, and there’s no word on how this can be stopped as the politicians themselves appear involved.Union finance minister Arun Jaitley seems quite happy that his tax collections have risen in November-December despite the demonetisation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had sought 50 days, till December 31, for things to stabilise after the demonetisation. The basic point is that so many decisions are being taken without consideration of the consequences. The banks were doing the Reserve Bank’s bidding, and it was just another thoughtless diktat, like so many others announced after the November 8 demonetisation of Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 currency notes that had to be rolled back. This deadline has passed, and he is silent on the persisting chaos, with people still not able to freely access their own money. But at what غير مجاز مي باشدt? Thousands of daily wage earners have lost jobs across the country as their employers had no cash to pay them. Rural India has been hit the hardest. The ATMs of even India’s largest bank, State Bank of India, are still "dry" at several places across the country, as they don’t get enough cash from the RBI. The Rs 2,000 note (which many people find little use for) is being dispensed liberally as Rs 500 notes are still in short supply and Rs 1,000 notes aren’t back. They have gone through immense hardships after the demonetisation.. People are no longer docile. In this case, the pumps were being made scapegoats. One doesn’t know how long this will last. The government has done well to quell, temporarily at least, the protest by petrol pump owners against the move by the banks to levy a transaction charge on credit/debit cards and other plastic money while buying fuel. So the one per cent levy sewage pump for sale some private sector banks decided to demand Saturday night turned out to be a nightmare.

It is inexplicable why all those affected and all stakeholders aren’t consulted when far-reaching decisions are taken. Why did the RBI and banks not discuss the pros and cons before issuing diktats. On Monday it was decided that banks and oil companies will share the غير مجاز مي باشدts of such transactions and consumers and pump owners would not be charged.

If that is not enough

Close to a lakh people bathe in different ghats of Varanasi everyday and about 450 million people live along the rivers 2,500 kms length who are dependent on it for their daily needs. In all five states from where it flows, the Ganga is cleaner by 40 per cent..About 33,000 dead bodies are burnt every year in Manikarnika and Harishchandra ghats in Varanasi. In fact, large traces of metals have often been found in fruits and vegetables grown using the water from the river. Toxicants like led, copper and cadmium emanating from the 1200 small scale industries in Varanasi, which used to end up in the river, has stopped now, explains Professor BD Tripathi, Chairman of MM Ganga Research Centre at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.

If that is not enough, millions of litres of sewage, heavy metals from industries go into it even as millions of people are heavily dependent on this river for their daily needs. Though successive governments including the present Modi government spent thousands of crores in cleaning the ganga and still failed miserably, looks like nature always finds its own way of healing.Having done several researches on river Ganga and submitted his findings to the Centre over the last five decades, Tripathi says that though there are 30 drains, both big and small in and around Varanasi which discharge 300 million litres of sewage everyday.According to experts who have previously carried out extensive research of river Ganga, the river is now breathing easy with 40 per cent less pollution in all forms, something they call as historic. Never in the history has this happened, adds Tripathi, who in his earlier reports had underlined that Ganga cannot be cleaned now and efforts have to be made to save it now. About 45 per cent of them are brought from other districts and states which has stopped now due to the lock down.Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Mr Tripathi said that the extraction of water for irrigation purposes has come down drastically which has increased the dilution capacity of the river. For the first time in history, the holy river Ganga is breathing easy. All of this has stopped now though locals continue to burn the dead bodies, but the number is very less and therefore, the load on the river is China Motor Water Pumps Suppliers far less, he says.Every year, a whopping 350 tonnes of partially burnt human flesh and bones, 10,000 tonnes of ash and cremation-related material, dead cows, buffaloes, monkeys, goats and shockingly even human dead bodies (without cremation)-- all are dumped in this holy river.

Once the lock down comes to an end, the professor is looking forward to conduct a detailed study. Courtesy: Coronavirus and the lock down !The ganga, which flows through five states and is most polluted in Varanasi -- Prime Minister Narendra Modis constituency -- is now regaining all its lost glory, slowly. But luckily, the three sewage treatment plants are still working despite the lock down.He says that the blasting works in Uttarakhand, which is a seismic zone has stopped now due to the lock down, which is good news for the river.

Another expert RP Mishra feels that though thousands of crores were spent on cleaning of the river by successive governments, no one knows where the money went. Pollution in the sacred river has come down by over 40 per cent and is likely to increase as the lock down continues across the country. The lock down has come as a blessing in disguise for the river.
